Maple syrup creamy fondue
 

Ingredients (4-6 servings)

  • 1 / 2 cup (125 ml) pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups (500 ml) cream 15% f.c.
  • 2 c. tea (10 ml) cornstarch
  • firm fruit cut into small pieces


Method

  1. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons tea (10 ml) cream and cornstarch.
  2. Heat maple syrup over low heat, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, bring the remaining cream to a boil and mix with the hot syrup.
  4. Add the diluted cornstarch and cook on low heat, until thickened.
  5. Place in a saucepan melt chocolate and serve with fruit.
